The Minister for Education and Culture,Dolores Cristina and the Parliamentary Secretary responsible for Youth and Sports, Clyde Puli have congratulated the Maltese National football team on their impressive victory against Liechtenstein.
“This best-ever win in Malta’s football annals is a merited reward for the hard work put in by national coach Dusan Fitzel and all his players.
Congratulations go to Michael Mifsud for becoming the first player in Maltese history to score five goals for the national team in an international match. No doubt his efforts were the result of excellent work by all his team-mates.
The Minister and Parliamentary Secretary assured the national coach and players of their continued support, convinced that the hard work being put in by all, will continue to give positive results.”
