Following its participation in its own festival Gaulitana: A Festival of Music, Gozo's Gaulitanus Choir will be back in action during this coming weekend's Gozo1234.
The choir will be giving an open-air concert on Friday the 2nd of May at 6.00pm at the Gozo Cathedral Stairs, Cathedral Square, Cittadella.
The choir, accompanied on the keyboard by Stephen Attard and conducted by its founder-director Colin Attard will be singing mostly light or popular music fitting for the occasion ranging from local music to operetta and Italian songs.
The Gaulitanus Choir will also be animating the pontifical solemn high mass at Pompei Church, Victoria, on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Pompei on May 8th. Mass starts at 6.00pm and will be celebrated by H. L. Mgr. Nicholas G. Cauchi, Bishop Emeritus.
