A 71yr old Nadur man has been seriously injured during a robbery at his Nadur residence.
The robbery occurred early this morning at around 3.45am in Ta' Hida street, Nadur. Preliminary Police investigations revealed that three men broke into the residence, tied up the man and then escaped with an unknown amount of cash.
The man was rushed to Gozo's General Hospital where he was said to be suffering from grievious injuries.
Duty Magistrate Dr A.Ellul has appointed various experts to assist him in an inquiry and police investigations are continuing.
