UEFA-logo.jpgVodafone Malta Limited has launched a competition in collaboration with recognised local supporters’ clubs of foreign European football teams. The winners of this competition will attend a UEFA Champions League semi-final match. The prize includes flights, accommodation and stadium tickets but excludes taxes.

Vodafone together with the official supporters’ clubs of foreign European football teams in Malta are organising a 5-a-side football tournament. This will take place on 31 March 2008 at the Pieta Football Club. The winning team, consisting of 7 players and a delegate from the winning club, will attend one of the UEFA Champions League semi-final matches.

Registration for the Vodafone Football Tournament is being handled by the supporters’ club. Participation in the tournament is open to players who are members of recognised supporters’ clubs and are 16 years and over. Players who have played in the season 2007/08 from either the Premier or 1st Division are not eligible. Closing date for registration is the 17th of March 2008. Other terms and conditions apply.

For more details on the Vodafone Football Tournament, contact your Supporters’ Club. Should any further official supporters’ clubs wish to participate they can call Denise Ross on +356 9988 8533.
