GO Plus TV said that it has hit the 25,000 subscriber mark in just over a year since it started offering its digital TV service. Over the past months, GO said, it has fulfilled its promise to provide Malta and Gozo with a digital TV service at the most affordable prices in the local market. The positive public reaction to the launch of the digital TV service is a testament to this commitment.
"We thank all our 25,000 customers for choosing GO Plus TV. We offer a wide selection of TV channels, backed by 24-hours-a-day support and customer care, from basic free-to-air channels to premium content including sports," said Keith Fearne, GO's Chief Commercial Officer.
"With the addition of TV, GO is Malta's only quadruple-play telecom operator with a complete portfolio of services namely fixed line, mobile, broadband Internet and digital television offering clients a total telecom solution. The take up of GO Plus digital TV service has grown quickly over the past months as more and more local customers are realising the better value proposition when signing up to GO Plus," he added.
"GO Plus TV offers the best value for money both in terms of content - with a wide selection of local and international channels to choose from - as well as service provision - offered through our state-of-the-art DTTV platform," Mr Fearne concluded.
Michèle Dandria, GO's TV Product Manager said: "GO Plus offers customers a fantastic 55-channel line-up of top-notch stations offering quality entertainment that ranges from English football club channels such as Manchester Utd TV, Liverpool TV, Arsenal TV and Chelsea TV being added later this year to channels providing new drama, hit comedy series, kids channels - including Disney channel - and groundbreaking documentaries. With the recent acquisition of extensive sports content, we now give sports fans through SPORTS+ a feast of events and tournaments from a variety of disciplines ranging from tennis, golf, rugby, motor racing, horse-racing, boxing and of course football. We look forward to the next four seasons of the FA Cup as well as all England home and away World Cup Qualifying 2010 matches exclusively on GO PLUS TV."
