Vodafone has launched Happy Weekends, whereby prepaid customers can now talk more to other Vodafone subscribers during the weekend period stipulated in the offer.

Happy Weekends start on Fridays at midnight and end on Sundays at midnight. Customers can choose the one weekend option, pay Lm0.75c and get the next weekend with unlimited calls or they can choose the four weekends option and pay Lm2 to get unlimited calls for four consecutive weekends. The options become applicable from the weekend following subscription.

“We have come up with an original offer to help customers have more fun during weekends,” said Daniela Bagnaschi, consumer marketing senior manager. “Our customers can now talk more with their friends and family during the weekend”.

Customers wishing to take up the offer can subscribe to offer by sending an SMS to 9900 with the text HW1 for the one weekend offer, or with HW4 if they want to opt for the four unlimited weekends offer, the SMS is free of charge. The Happy Weekends campaign will run until the 30th of March.
