The Electoral Commission has announced that by means of the recent Constitutional amendments, the names of persons which had been deleted from the Electoral Register due to a suspended sentence by the Law Courts, shall be inserted in the Electoral Register being published this month, under their last registered address.
Those persons undergoing a suspended sentence should however verify with the Electoral Office to ensure that their name is to be included. All such persons are being notified to attend personally at the Electoral Office at Evans Building, St. Elmo Place, Valletta, to sign the necessary form.
Furthermore, any such person who needs to effect a correction or a change of address in their registration should call at the same Office to change his/her identity card and to complete an application to the Revising Officer by not later than 21 days from the date of publication of the afore mentioned Register.
