The Executive Committee of Alternattiva Demokratika- The Green Party- is inviting calls for applications from individuals with progressive and ecologist ideals interested in contesting the forthcoming MEP elections.
All candidates will be interviewed by an ad hoc Committee,which will then submit a shortlist of recommended candidates for evaluation by the Executive Committee and subsequent referral for the approval by an AD General Meeting.
All shortlisted candidates will be given the opportunity to communicate with AD members both before and during the General Meeting.
Interested persons are asked to contact the Secretary General, Mr Victor Galea, via email info@alternattiva.org.mt by not later than 8.00pm on the 1st of October 2008. All interested persons will be invited to attend an interview by the the 7th of October 2008.
The Executive Committee reserves the right to select the recommended candidate/s for approval by the General Meeting planned for the 18th October, 2008.
Calls for applications for candidates for the local councils elections will be issued later this year.
