I don't want to as though all I hear I believe without an inch of doubt but at very basic enviornment science classes we are taught That life of earth wouldnt be possible without that 1% various oxides need to create the Greenhouse effect.
And you are wrong in saying that a small increase makes no great affect in the overall wrmth of the earth. Its not only Carbon dioxide I agree which is the culprite of global warming but its not even the Sun. Its the collective GHG effect on earth. these include even nitric oxides and other such gases.

So the media is telling half-truth stories I agree with you but this doesnt make this whole thing a conspiracy to sell green products or reduce economic reliance on OPEC and other such countries. Its merely the media trying to make the issue accessible to all. By making the subject as simple as possible.

No scam. Real global warming. Real need of action.

Hi Victor,

Thanks for the comment however I don't think you understood the letter fully. At no time did I ignore the reality of climate change in my letter. I actually allude to the fact that it is indeed taking place in the very first paragraph. I'm simply stating the fact that climate change is down to nature not us.

As for taking President Bush's school of thought I wasn't aware that he had one. I would assume that the prerequisite for having a thought would be a brain and I very much doubt if he has one of those.

Quite surprised to read Mr. Tyrrell's contribution this time round. If I understood correctly, he is taking President's Bush's school of thought of some years ago (prior 2001). But now Mr. Bush is quickly realising he was mistaken when he tried to ignore the reality of climate change.

THE PRESIDENT: "Good morning. I've just met with senior members of my administration who are working to develop an effective and science-based approach to addressing the important issues of global climate change..."
