A Victoria man has been jailed for twenty seven months and fined LM700 after he was found guilty of possessing cocaine which was found in circumstances denoting it was not for his own personal use.
Magistrate Lawrence Quintano, heard how the police stopped Martin Farrugia, 45, from Victoria, in Cirkewwa. As soon as he saw the police, he discarded a white plastic bag and kicked it underneath a car. The bag was found to contain nearly 37 grams of cocaine.
