With 6,748 persons registered as unemployed, unemployment in April 2007 actually decreased by 789 persons when compared to the same month last year.
However, the number of registered unemployed in Gozo increased by 13 persons or 2.0 percent when compared to April 2006, whilst in Malta it decreased by 802 persons or 11.7 percent.
