Two bodies were recovered from the sea by the Armed Forces of Malta yesterday. The first body was recovered just outside Mgarr harbour early in the afternoon, the second body was recovered later that evening. Both of the bodies were wearing life jackets and in an advanced state of decomposition.
Magistrate Dr Jacqueline Silvio Meli has appointed various experts to assist in an inquiry and police investigations are continuing.
