The eighth ‘Gozo International Celebration’ will be held on Saturday the 15th of March at St. Joseph parish church in Qala. The theme of the event is ‘Redemption.’
It is an ecumenical event, and the Archpriest, Canon Dr. Joseph Zammit, and the clergy of the parish church of Qala invite all foreign nationals to attend.
The celebration will commence at 6.30pm and end at 8.00pm. Those attending are asked to be seated by 6.15pm. Entrance to the event is free but donations will be gratefully accepted.
Performances will be given by the Laudate Pueri Choir, St Joseph and the Magnificat Choirs, tenor Joseph Sammit, soprano Ruth Portelli, baritone Joseph Buttigieg, Island Brass, soloist Omar Zerafu, organist Robert Buhagiar.
Sammy Mejlaq will deliver the message that will dominate the theme of the programme.
A reception at the Bishop Mikiel F. Buttigieg Hall, Parish Centre, Qala will conclude the evening.
