The House Business Committee of the House of Representatives has announced that the 2008 Budget will be presented by the Prime Minister, Lawrence Gonzi, on Monday, the 15th of October .
The Leader of the Opposition, Dr Alfred Sant, will have his right of reply on Monday, the 22nd of October, whilst the Prime Minister will once again give his reply on Wednesday, the 24th of October.
Discussions on the Budget Estimates will start on Thursday, the 23rd of October, with two discussions each day. They are expected to last until Friday, the 2nd of November.
