The Electoral Commission has announced that the average turnout of voters for todays local elections was approximately 68%. This is 14% less than the last local elections which had an 82% turnout.
The turnout at Kercem was put at 81%, at Munxar 70%, at Qala 77%, at San Lawrenz 78%, at Xaghra 70% and at Zebbug 59%.
