Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi said yesterday that the surcharge on power and water consumption would be reduced to 59.5 per cent in the coming days from the current 63.5 per cent because of a drop in international oil prices, fuel costs will also be going down.
Dr Gonzi was speaking in Parliament during the budget debate.
