The Gozo and Comino sub-committee of Din l-Art Helwa has cleared rubbish left around the Santa Marija Tower and the gun battery in Comino.
The tower was built circa 1618 by Grand Master Wignacourt while the gun battery was built in 1714 and is one of only three gun batteries built by the Order of St John still in existence.
The tower will be open today and on September 22 between 11.30 a.m. and 2 p.m. while the gun battery can be visited at any time.
Volunteer helpers wishing to join in can call 2122 0358.
