The Michele Peresso Group of Companies has launched PrimeMall®, a shopping centre comprising between 30 to 40 shops, which is expected to open its doors in Republic Street, Victoria by autumn of 2008.
The new venture was officially launched during a business breakfast held in Sliema. The Hon. Giovanna Debono, Minister for Gozo, attended the meeting together with a number of distinguished high street brand retail owners. During his address, Mr Emmanuel Peresso, Chairman of 'Michele Peresso Group' said that his Group will be investing over Lm2.5m in this project together with 'Island Developers Ltd'.
PrimeMall® is situated in the heart of the town centre. Surrounded by landmarks and public services, including the two main city band clubs, it is a pivotal centre point to Victoria's main square. A carpark with a capacity of 45 cars, will be available on the lower floors. Besides, there will also be a rear entrance serviced by two elevators leading to the bus-terminus area and large open parking facilities at the back of the building.
The common areas, including passageways, will be spacious and wide, thus giving its esteemed customers an enjoyable stress free shopping experience. Passageways will occupy 25 per cent of the total floor area allowing customers to browse around in comfort. Two escalators and four elevators will cater for better free movement to both floors, Level 0 and Level -1. Prime Mall will also house a Well Being Centre, with a large indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi, as well as two saunas, health and beauty services and treatments in a 90m˛ area.
