President starts official visit to Nadur

President Edward Fenech Adami and Mrs Fenech Adami yesterday started their official visit to Nadur with a visit to local schools.

In a speech to students at the Dun Salv Vella Primary School, Dr Fenech Adami said that he could see the development and improvements being made to Maltese and Gozitan schools.

The President later paid a visit to the St Francis Kindergarten where he met young children in attendance.

Mrs Fenech Adami paid a visit to the Nadur home for the elderly, later in the evening, the President and his wife met with Gozitan Non-Governmental Organisations.

On Sunday, the President will be attending the parish mass and will meet Frans Camilleri, an artist who paints using his mouth. He will also be visiting the football nurseries and the Mnarja Band Club.

His last visit will be to the new Nadur local council premises which is to be officially inaugrated by the President.
