Top-up cards from Vodafone and GO Mobile all come with different prepaid time windows, forcing the consumer to credit their prepaid account once the prepaid time window has expired, regardless of whether their credit has been completely used or not.
Alternattiva Demokratika’s spokesman on IT and Communications, Henrik Piski has spoken out against the practice, saying, “The consumer is purchasing a service from a mobile phone company and this prepaid credit should never expire.”
“This is common practice in other countries in Europe and has been, for example, enforced by a court decision in Germany. We expect Maltese mobile phone operators to behave likewise,” concluded the Alternattiva Demokratika Spokesperson.

You are right, top up cards from vodafone and go mobile should never expire, when someone buys a card it should be used at the customer’s time and should not expire after 3 months or so, especially when you are trying to maintain a vodafone or go mobile phone from abroad…………………
