The following figures are the number of votes polled and the relevant percentages during the first count, listed by party:
Alpha. Liberali Demokratiku, 21 votes, 0.01%; Alternattiva Demokratika, 3810 votes, 1.31%; Azzjoni Nazzjonali, 1461 votes, 0.50%; Forza Malta 8 votes, 0.00%; Gozitan Party 37 votes, 0.01%; Imperium Europa 84 votes, 0.03%; Indipendenti 22 votes, 0.01%; Malta Labour Party 141,888 votes, 48.79%; Partit Nazzjonalista 143,468 votes 49.34%.
The total number of votes counted amounted to 290,799.
