The Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, attended for the launching of a new book entitled 'L-Assedju ta' Ghawdex 1551 - Ballata', during an event organised for the occasion at the Cittadella in Victoria.
The book, which is written by Gozitan poet Ganninu Cremona, recounts the tragic story of the 1551 Siege of Gozo.
The event was held at St. John's Demi-Bastion, Victoria Citadel, Gozo, on Friday, the 25th of July.
