On Saturday evening, Archpriest Saviour Muscat of Nadur was honoured with 'Gieh in-Nadur.' The award was presented by Mayor Dr Chris Said during a concert held by the Mnarja Band under the direction of Mro Joseph Grech at the MBC Theatre in Nadur. This was the 10th edition of Premju Gieh in-Nadur.
Earlier on Saturday afternoon a programme of twenty horse races was held along Racecourse Street in Nadur as part of the St Coronato celebrations. The Nadur Local Council was the official sponsor and Mayor Dr Chris Said presented trophies to the winners.
