The Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment, the Hon. Tonio Fenech, has confirmed Mr Joseph Zammit Tabona FCA, CPAA, FIA, AAIT, KM, as Chairman of the Malta Stock Exchange.
He has occupied this post since January 2006. On the 1st of November 2007 the operations of the Malta Stock Exchange migrated to a newly subsidiary company set up under the Companies Act, namely the Malta Stock Exchange plc. and besides being Chairman of this company since its inception on the 5th of October 2007, he is also Chairman of its sister company CSD ( Malta) Limited, as well as their holding company MSE ( Holdings) Limited.
Dr Arthur Galea Salomone has been re-appointed Deputy Chairman. Dr. Antoine Fiott, Karen Spiteri Bailey and Charlotte Attard have been appointed Directors.
