As was widely anticipated, the Malta Environment and Planning Authority has revoked the development permit which it had previously issued for the re-development of the Ulysses Lodge at Ramla l-Hamra.
The MEPA board met today to discuss the possible revocation of the permit after their legal office found inaccuracies in the ownership declarations submitted with the applications. These inaccurate ownership declarations had had a material bearing on the Authority's previous decision to permit the development.
