The petition organised by www.saveramla.com... to have the Ramla development permit annulled has been rather suprisingly signed by MEPA Public Relations Officer Sylvana Debono. The comment section of her petition entry contains a rebuttal of the various points which have been raised against the permit which was approved by MEPA. The full text of the petition entry can be viewed near the bottom of this page.
As of today, the petition has now been signed by over 6,680 people, thousands from Gozo and Malta but also many others from a multitude of countries from all around the world.
