Melita Cable recently replaced and rebranded two of their most popular channels. Discovery World has replaced Discovery Civilisation on Melita Digital Channel 451.
Discovery World is a brand new channel showcasing a rich and colourful selection of high quality factual programmes from around the globe. This brand new channel will offer a greater variety of genres with landmark series and a selection of in depth documentary programmes exclusive to the channel. Discovery World aims to enrich your knowledge of the world around you with high quality and aspirational programming.
BBC World has been renamed BBC World News on Melita Digital Channel 400. This change is accompanied by a refreshed channel logo and on-air graphics.
The move follows research which revealed the new brand name to be more effective in conveying the content of the channel to audiences. While the new name reflects the channel’s commitment to providing quality, international news, BBC World News will continue to show programmes such as Click and HARDtalk, as well as its popular weekend documentaries.
