The second edition of the Malta Baby & Kids Directory together with the official website, was launched on Thursday at Razzett Tal-Hbiberija in the presence of Mrs Catherine Gonzi, Chairperson of the HSBC Care for Children Fund.
Mrs Catherine Gonzi, who endorsed the directory is herself a keen supporter of charities that assist children with special needs. Speaking about the directory, Mrs Gonzi said that the availability of such an array of goods and services is a great time-saver. The knowledge that only the best quality is promoted puts the parents' mind at rest when relying on the Directory. She added that such an informative resource, the Malta Baby & Kids Directory would make an appreciated gift for parents and parents-to-be.
To celebrate the launch of the magazine, Malta Baby & Kids Directory have joined forces with Progress Press and are organising a painting competition for kids from 4 to 14 years who can send in a painting on the theme "Living in the Mediterranean". The 12 winning paintings will be exhibited at the Razzett Tal-Hbiberija and will be included in a 2009 official Razzett tal-Hbiberija calendar. All proceeds from the calendar will be donated to Razzett tal-Hbiberija. Winners will also be entitled to a tree package from 34U and a prize from Juniors Fun and Learn Centre. The deadline for entries for the competition is the 1st September 2008, the details for which are included in the Malta Baby & Kids Directory and online at www.maltababyandkids.com.
