As main sponsors of the Juventus visit to Malta, GO have said they will be broadcasting exclusive features and clips on Go Plus TV, including select interviews with protagonists of Italy’s Series A giants Juventus, comments gathered from players at the Juventus Centre in the club’s base in Vinovo, Turin and even footage of a privileged visit made by a GO Plus team to the Juventus Headquarters in Corso Galileo Ferraris where access was allowed to the legendary trophies hall.
Over the coming days, GO Plus sports viewers will have a unique opportunity to share the aura of excitement and thrill tied up with the visit of the Juventus stars to Malta.
All interviews and footage of the players in action will be screened exclusively, as part of a special on the visit, by the GO Plus TV sports channel - Sports+1 - on Wednesday January the 9th at 9pm and Thursday the 10th of January at 6.45pm. A deferred transmission of the match will be aired, together with two special programmes: a pre-match programme as well as after-match analysis and review programme.
In preparation for the arrival of the Juve squad in Malta, a GO production team visited the Juventus Centre in Vinovo and followed training sessions held on Friday and Saturday. In exclusive interviews both Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon said they were looking forward immensely to the visit. Meanwhile in other exclusive interviews, Juve players, Vincenzo Iaquinta and Raffaele Palladino both confirmed they were extremely enthusiastic of the training camp in Malta since they were aware of an extensive 20,000-strong bianconeri fans on the island and were indeed expecting a warm welcome from supporters. Meanwhile the GO team also had the privilege of visiting the Juventus headquarters in Corso Galileo Ferraris where the members were allowed to enter and take footage of the famous trophies hall.
“All this and much more will be shown on Sports+. It is a great opportunity for the thousands of bianconeri supporters in Malta to witness the preparations of Italy’s most victorious club in their homeland at the Juventus centre and the Juventus headquarters as well as the arrival in Malta on board the flight and the training sessions and other events happening in Malta,” said Jack Mizzi, GO’s Content Manager.
“We will air two special sports programmes dedicated to the Juventus visit, which will be shown before and after the football match, which will be exclusively available to GO TV customers. The programmes will include exclusive interviews from Turin. As an added bonus to our customers, we will also be reminiscing about the past Juventus visits in Malta- three in total - and will have several interviews with ex Maltese players who have played against Juventus in the past. Our programming will also feature exclusive interviews with the players and interviews from the touch line, as well as after-match comments from all those involved in this major event,” he added.
