The Nadur Local Council has announced an important meeting for all citrus farmers, following the discovery by the Agriculture Department of a deadly disease in the citrus trees around Nadur. The meeting will be held at the Joe Tabone Hall at 10.00am on Sunday 9th of December.
Dr. Marica Gatt (Director of Plant Health); Mr Anthony Muscat (Surveillance and Inspectorate Unit) and Mr David Attard (Diagnosis Unit) will be addressing this meeting. All those involved in this sector are kindly asked to attend to facilitate the control of this disease.
