The Gozo branches of HSBC Bank have been presented with the 'Area Award for Best Customer Service', after topping the bank's most recent customer service survey for the last four months of 2006.
This prize is a regular customer service driven award given periodically on an area basis, through which HSBC recognises team effort in providing excellent service to customers. On a consolidated basis for 2006, Gozo Area turned out to be the best performing area for customer satisfaction for the year.
"HSBC's regular surveys on customer satisfaction consistently record high levels of customer satisfaction. This continues to motivate us and strengthen HSBC's commitment to place the customer at the centre of our attention across our branch network," said HSBC's Head of Branch Banking, Mr Ray Briffa.
"I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate and thank all the staff, especially our colleagues in Gozo, for the sustained high level of customer satisfaction, and for directly adding to HSBC's success," concluded Mr Briffa.
