Gozo News has just launched a new and improved mobile website. All current users of the existing system are kindly asked to update their mobile bookmark to gozonews.mobi, the new website is now live.
The previous system, which was on gozonews.com, relied upon the users mobile being recognised as such by our server. As the technology of mobile phones is advancing so rapidly, some users were experiencing difficulty accessing the mobile website when they purchased a new mobile phone and our existing system was having to be continually upgraded.
Our new mobile website will serve mobile content to whatever browser technology is used to access gozonews.mobi, even your standard browser will see the mobile content of our normal website in a viewable low bandwidth form.
All new mobile phones and PDA's should now be completely compatible, and the new system should also be future-proof.
