Gozo Channel Company Limited has announced arrangements being made for the Gozo 1234 event being held in Gozo over the 4 day long weekend period between the 1st and the 4th of May.
Gozo Channel Company Limited said that it is extending the “Immorru Ghawdex” reduced rate scheme for all trips departing Cirkewwa between 1.30pm and midnight between Wednesday the 30th of April and Saturday the 3rd of May. Under this scheme the Standard passenger ticket is €1.40 (Lm0.60)p.p. return, and the Standard Car plus driver is €8.35 (Lm3.58) return.
Moreover, in order to make Gozo more accessible, additional trips will be performed at night on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning 2.30am from Mgarr and 3.15am from Cirkewwa. Furthermore from Wednesday the 30th of April through to Sunday the 4th of May, the afternoon trips shall remain at 45 minutes intervals from both Mgarr and Cirkewwa i.e. at 12.00 noon, 12.45pm and 1.30pm. All other trips will remain according to the published timetable.
A shuttle service with all three ferries with a turnover of around 330 vehicles an hour will also be operated at peak travel times
