Fr Franz Refalo has been appointed parish priest of St Liborius in Rome. Fr Refalo succeeds Mgr Paul Cardona who was recently appointed archpriest of St George's Basilica in Victoria, Gozo.
Fr Refalo was born in Victoria on the 6th of August 1959, he studied at De La Salle College and later graduated as a lawyer in 1984, a profession he followed for five years. He was ordained as a priest in 1993 and in October 2006 he was appointed as a judge of the Ecclesiastical Tribunal.
