A 43 year old man from Xaghra is in critical condition after falling while carrying out construction work on his own home yesterday morning.
The police said the man was taken to Gozo General Hospital after falling a height of around one storey.
Duty Magistrate Tonio Micallef Trigona has opened an inquiry into the case.
