Mr. Victor Galea, the Alternattiva Demokratika spokesperson for Gozo, has been elected as the new Secretary General of Alternattiva Demokratika.
A spokesman for AD Gozo said, “the election of Mr. Victor Galea, the AD spokesperson for Gozo, to the post of the Secretary General of Alternattiva Demokratika is a proud moment for the Gozo Regional Committee.”
“Alternattiva Demokratika’s Gozo section warmly congratulates Mr. Galea on his prestigious political appointment, a historic first for all Gozitans,
showing them that Gozo is deep at heart with AD.”

“We are delighted that Mr. Galea will continue to be actively involved in AD’s work in Gozo while likewise applying his manifest managerial talent and decisive, dynamic organizational flair for the benefit of the country as a whole”, Mr. Mizzi continued.
“Mr. Galea’s vast professional experience in education, social welfare and therapy coupled with his proven political ability to forge a formidable electoral force amply qualify him for his new role.”
On noting the reductions in both the departure tax and Gozo ferry tariffs as well as the fact that there was no mention of golf courses or marinas in the last budget, Mr. Galea recently observed, “Given that we have achieved all this without parliamentary representation, imagine what we could accomplish with it.”
Mr Galea was also instrumental in building the web portal www.adgozo.com that represents Gozo’s green issues.
