GO Mobile slashes prices for nationwide wireless internet

GOGO Mobile has announced a significant reduction in its data tariff plans, thus making 3.5G wireless internet and email accessible to all clients who are interested. GO Mobile said it remains the only Maltese operator to currently offer nationwide broadband wireless internet and email.

"The Unlimited Plan, which offers broadband internet and email access both in Malta and abroad, is being offered at a special price of Lm9.87/€22.99 per month. The service includes a free PCMIA Card or a wireless USB modem, whichever is more convenient for the client," GO Mobile Senior Sales & Marketing Manager, Kenneth Spiteri, said. Clients who subscribe to the Unlimited Plan will enjoy 3.5G (HSDPA) coverage nationwide across Malta and Gozo.

"GO Mobile is extremely proud to state that we remain the only Maltese mobile phone company to offer this 3.5G coverage across all the Maltese islands. In essence, this means that you do not need to be in specific areas of Malta in order to enjoy a smooth wireless internet or email experience," Mr Spiteri said. "GO Mobile's investment into nationwide 3.5G technology means that our wireless internet and email service does not fall back on slower technologies as would happen with operators who do not offer nationwide coverage."

Thanks to the 3.5G technology, clients will in fact benefit from speeds of up to 1.8Mbit/s as well as a download capacity of 5Gb under the Unlimited Plan. The service is also made possible thanks to the connection devices which GO Mobile is offering for free with the Unlimited Plan. The PCMIA Card and the wireless USB modem are compatible with PCs, notebooks and PDAs and offer the perfect solution to clients who need - or who simply enjoy - having internet and email services on the move. Clients can subscribe to the Unlimited Plan offer until the 8th November 2007.

Clients who are not heavy users can also opt for other different bundles, amongst which the Value Plan, which offers a 500Mb bundle for Lm6.44/€15.00 per month.
