GOGO Mobile has announced a significant upgrading of its wireless broadband internet services. The HSDPA/3.5G service offered by GO Mobile, the only operator to offer this technology nationwide in Malta and Gozo, will in fact now reach download speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, which is double the previous bandwidth speeds.

“Technology evolves fast and at GO Mobile we always try to be the first to offer the most innovative services to the local market. Our network architecture and software capability have recently been upgraded to support this faster bandwidth and thanks to our mobile device suppliers, who are also in line with the industry, we are now in a position to bring these faster wireless data speeds to our customers. Clients will now enjoy an internet download speed of up to 3.6 Mbps on a nationwide basis,” said GO Mobile Business Development Manager John Farrugia.

The new Teltonika USB devices which are 7.2 Mbps ready, for the future evolution of this technology, are now available from GO Mobile.

Clients wishing to experience this faster service are invited to visit the GO stand at the ITEX fair this week. A very attractive package is being offered to all clients signing up for a two-year subscription to the Unlimited Plan, which is priced at Lm9.87/€23 per month. Other data plans are also available.
