As the St Joseph Band Club is celebrating the 80th Anniversary, the executive commitee is organizing a blood donation drive in collaboration with the Malta National Blood Transfusion Service and the Red Cross Gozo Branch. The Ghajnsielem band club will be literally be turned into a blood donation centre.
The activity is being planned for the end of May and the executive committee is inviting the general public to take part in this activity and donate blood. Meanwhile, the St Joseph Band Club is raising awareness about the importance of giving blood.
By donating a pint of blood you may save three lives. The committee is urging all potential donors to participate in this event. A reservation can be made by sending an SMS message with your name on 99459426 or by contacting one of the committee members.
Blood donation is about about a few minutes of your time. It’s About Life.
