Gozo’s Gaulitanus Choir will be performing light hearted music on December 3rd in an evening entitled Operetta Night at Palazzo Palina, Hotel Ta’ Cenc at 7 p.m.
The concert will include two selections from Sidney Jones The Geisha and Johann Strauss The Gipsy Baron. These two selections were adopted by the choir’s founder-director and artistic director Mro. Colin Attard. He will also conduct the choir and its soloists accompanied by pianist Stephen Attard.
Seven soloists, namely sopranos Rita Dimech, Christabelle Formosa and Stephanie Buttigieg, tenors Joseph Calleja and Terry Shaw, baritone Joseph Buttigieg and bass Darren Vella will feature in the event.
Following the concert, an optional pasta buffet will be held at the same venue. The menu will consist of four different types of pasta, four different types of dessert, three glasses of wine or soft drinks and a coffee.
