The fuel surcharge is to fall by 9% from 54% to 45% between March and May. The decrease follows a request presented to the Malta Resources Authority by the Enemalta Corporation.
In a statement the Ministry for Investment, Industry and Information Technology added that the surcharge as from the 1st of March will be 22.5% less than one year ago when the surcharge stood at at 67.5%.
