This coming Sunday, November the 11th, two seminarians from St George’s Basilica, Francesco Pio Attard and Simon Cachia, together with Maximillian Grech from the Assumption Cathedral parish and Noel Debono from the parish of the Apostles Peter and Paul of Nadur, will be formally accepted to the last phase of their course to the priesthood in a special Admission Rite celebration presided over by HE Mgr Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo.
The ceremony will take place with Mass at Ghajnsielem parish church, which starts at 5.00pm. The four seminarians will thereby formally start the preparation for the Lectorate and Acolytate ministries, and then for the Diaconate and finally the Priesthood.
