The Ministry for Gozo is once again launching the Financial Assistance Scheme for Non-Governmental Organisations and Voluntary Groups that are based in, or operate in Gozo, and that are members of the Association for Gozitan Non-Governmental Organisations.
The scheme is intended to support the voluntary sector operating in Gozo. Around 150 organisations from different sectors have benefited from this scheme since it’s set-up in 1996. Last year, more than Lm14,000 in financial assistance was provided for through this scheme.
Duly filled forms are to be returned to the NGO Centre by not later than the 31st of October 2007. For more information, one may email the association at ngocentregozo@gov.mt.
...Organisations may also pick up copies of the application form from the NGO Centre in Xewkija, telephone 21565492 or the Ministry for Gozo, telephone 21561482. Association members will receive an application form by post.
