A group of 52 people from Nadur, led by Mayor Dr Chris Said, have returned from a tour of Italy which started at Baveno, the town which is twinned with Nadur. Amongst the places visited were Isola Madre, Isola Bella, Isola Pescatori, Il Mottarone, Milan, Arona; Switzerland, Domodossala Open Market; Aorta and Gardaland.
Accompanying the group were councillor Mrs Maria Natoli and the Council's secretary Mrs Rita Mifsud Attard. A group from Baveno will making a return visit to Nadur in November for the celebrations of Nadur Council Day.
