During a consultation meeting held at the Victoria Local Council's premises, the Mayor, Robert Tabone, presented a document which is being drafted, together with International experts, with the intention of submitting it for EU funds to finance an 'Integrated Heritage Trail' in the ancient heart of Victoria. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and explain the concept of the project to the institutional stakeholders.
The basis for the document was a three-day International Seminar organised by the Council during July. The discussions carried out and the conclusions made were included in the document, which is to be submitted under the EU Structural Funds programme. Present at the meeting were representatives from the Ministry for Gozo, the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage, MEPA, GBC, GTA, the two Parishes, the two Philharmonic Societies, NGO's and the Scouts.
