Enemalta apologises for the recent power cuts across Gozo

Enemalta have said that the recent losses of power throughout Gozo were caused by a fault which occurred on Sunday at the Qala Distribution Centre at around 8pm, as a result electricity was interrupted in Gozo until 2am. Enemalta engineers had to switch off this Distribution centre again on Monday morning at 10am to localize and address the fault. Although electricity service was restored during the day, the service had to be interrupted during late afternoon as technical problems were once again being experienced.
The corporation, said that whilst it was doing its best to resolve the technical issues surrounding this incident to secure uninterrupted power supply, it apologizes to its clients in Gozo for the inconvenience caused. The corporation added that customers may report any faults and power interruptions on the following freephone number - 80072224.
