The Electoral Commission notifies those voters for the general and local councils elections who, after receipt of their voting document have lost or otherwise damaged or destroyed their document, and those persons who although their name appears in the Electoral Register published in October 2007, as revised by the decisions of the Revising Officer, have not as yet received their voting document because of some special reason including that the Commission is not in possession of their photograph, that they may apply personally to one of the Electoral Commissioners for a Special Voting Document.
The voter must present his Identity Card.
Office hours will be as follows:
Monday to Saturdays: from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 3.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
Sundays: from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Wednesday 5th March, 2008 (last day):
General Election : from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and
from 3.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Local Councils Elections: from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and
from 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Voters who are registered in the thirteenth electoral division (Gozo and Comino) may call at the Identity Cards Office, Rabat, Gozo, during the same office hours. Nobody shall be allowed to vote without a voting document. For further information on this particular subject call on tel. no. 25583300.
