Following the massive response and attendance to the first four editions of the Gozo International Celebration at Qala, the organising committee is to hold an Easter edition on March 25th, at St Joseph parish church, Qala, between 6.30pm and 8pm. A reception will be held after the event at the Mons Mikiel F. Buttigieg Hall in 28 April 1688 Street, also in Qala. The attendance and reception are free and the event will include fresh programme items with the participation of the well-celebrated Gozitan Island Brass, the acoustic group Adia and Ghawdex Hand-bell Ringers, both Qala choirs (St Joseph and Magnificat), soprano Ruth Portelli and baritone Joseph Butiggieg and the Qala altar servers. Due consideration has been given to the many excellent suggestions and wishes of the attendees of previous editions. The organising committee of the Gozo International Celebration would like to thank the hundreds of families, couples and individuals for their kind comments. They would also like to thank the many volunteers who have made these events possible and highly successful.
