A unique species it is verily, whose protected status is so exceptionally well respected that it not only prospers, but prodigiously proliferates in this place.
Indeed, flourish it does, and in such abundant numbers that it threatens to supplant the hitherto unrivalled emblematic primacy of the fabled falcon or even Il-Merill itself.

Well chosen photo of the ‘cranes’ at San Lawrenz Hotel (Ghawdex) which the then Minister Michael Falzon (PN) gave the green light to build this Hotel in a ‘green area’.
Who knows what the Hon.Michael Fazon A&CE did when he was Minister for Development before 1992, with his famous (or infamous
Buillding Permits (Temporary Provisions Act 1999) prior to the Development Planning Act1992?
San Lawrenz Hotel is but one glaring example.
