Consultation Conference on Career Prospects

The Gozo Council for Education and Vocational Training in collaboration with the University Gozo Centre will be organising a Consultation Conference on Career Prospects on 26th January at the Grand Hotel in Mgarr, between 1.30pm and 5pm.

The conference will consist of a briefing of a report on "Careers Prospects in Gozo", drawn up by the Gozo Council for Education and Vocational Training, followed by group discussions on prospects for sixth formers preparing for University, for Malta College for Science, Arts and Technology students and related vocations, for early school-leavers and for those with poor qualifications.

The conference will be conducted in the Maltese language.

The conference is mainly intended for policy-makers and practitioners in education, including those offering private and vocational education.

Participation is free of charge, but those wishing to attend are kindly asked to fill in the registration form, which is available at http://home.um.edu.mt/ugc/careers_january07.doc

The form should be submitted to the University Gozo Centre at Mgarr Road, Xewkija by not later than 20th January.
